Sustainability

We believe it is our purpose to deliver sustained value creation. It is our responsibility to operate in a sustainable manner, keeping our carbon footprint low and maximising our energy efficiency. It is our duty to be responsible to all our stakeholders, including the environment and society at large.

Our guiding principles have their basis in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of the United Nations. Although we support all 17 goals laid out by the United Nations, we are able to directly contribute to the following:

  • We are committed to hiring significant numbers of local staff as well as to contribute to their economic growth.
  • We provide training to all our employees as well as other selected candidates, providing them substantial knowledge and experience.
  • We treat all our stakeholders with dignity and respect.
  • We honour diversity and strive for continuous improvement in working conditions and the well being of our employees. We strive to use our infrastructure and know how to help the digitalisation process in Ethiopia, making knowledge platforms such as online learning, more readily available.
  • We keep our carbon footprint low by running our Data Centre on 100% renewable energy and keeping a high level of energy efficiency.
  • We provide much needed infrastructure to support the growth of technology and innovation, helping Ethiopia become an important IT hub of Africa.
